Counseling and Psychological Services

Counselling and Psychological Services

University life can bring a range of personal, emotional, and academic challenges that may affect students’ well-being and academic performance. These may include:

  • Depression and anxiety
  • Stress and difficulty managing academic responsibilities
  • Procrastination and lack of motivation
  • Family or relationship concerns
  • Other personal or emotional difficulties

Support and Counselling Services

LUMS offers counselling and psychological support services to help students navigate these challenges. Services may include individual counselling, group counselling, and referrals to appropriate support resources.

Student Counsellors provide assessment and brief counselling or therapy for concerns ranging from everyday challenges to more significant psychological difficulties. Students are encouraged to seek support whenever they feel they may benefit from it.

Faculty members, staff, parents, and fellow students who are concerned about a student's well-being may also reach out to discuss available support options and appropriate referral pathways.
