Transfer Advisement

Transfer Advisement

If you have been officially admitted to SDSB as a transfer student from another university or have been readmitted to LUMS, the following steps can help you prepare for your return to studies.

1. Review University Policies

Read the latest Undergraduate Student Handbook to familiarize yourself with current academic policies and degree requirements. If you have been away from the University, your programme requirements may have changed since your last enrolment.

2. Meet with an Academic Advisor

Schedule a meeting with an Academic Advisor to review your Advisement Report and identify the courses and degree requirements you still need to complete. Your advisor can help you plan your remaining coursework and develop an appropriate academic semester by semester plan.

3. Complete Your Course Registration

Consult your Academic Advisor regarding course selection and course enrollment. Follow the instructions issued by the Registrar’s Office for registering for courses through Zambeel during your assigned enrollment period.

4. Arrange Financial and Administrative Matters

  • Financial Aid and Accounts: Contact the relevant offices to discuss financial aid, if applicable, and settle any outstanding financial obligations.
  • Housing:  If you wish to live on campus, contact the Residence Office to discuss available accommodation options.
  • Zambeel Access: Confirm that your Zambeel account is active and that you can access the information needed for course enrollment.
