Hello everyone and a very warm welcome to all those new faces.
I’m Syed Asfand Yar Banoori, a junior in ACF. I take a great interest in finance and technology. While finance is my field of interest to study, technology is my passion. You won’t find someone as updated on the latest tech as me. Other than that I also love playing football and basket ball to relieve some of my stress(you will get it alot here but don't worry since we will help you out).
LUMS has provided me a platform to make a future for myself for the things I am passionate about.
I feel deeply obliged having the opportunity to address the freshmen.
These four years are going to be the deciding years of your life giving you the opportunity to become someone you strive to be, the way of life you want for yourself and to groom your passions and interests in a way you can live off on them.
So explore yourself, extend your limits, challenge your capabilites, take part in many activites as you can, express yourself, spread the wings of your freedom. But in this endeavor,be responsible do not loose your track, remain the kind of person your true friends wish you to be, and never lose sight of your goals.
And talking of studies & goals, as your peer advisor here I am eager to give the most I can. I will provide you with additional help that you may want and need.
So fasten up your shoe laces and buckle up your belts for the journey ahead , because the best part of your life is waiting for you.
