Congratulations, YOU MADE IT! Welcome to the LUMS Family (your new home)! I am Minahil Naseer Butt, a senior pursuing a degree in Management Sciences. I can understand the whirlwind of emotions you all must be feeling transitioning into university, but as your Peer Ambassador, I will try to ensure that your transition into LUMS life is as smooth as possible and that you make the most of your time here because trust me, there is no better place! During this adventurous journey, LUMS will offer you an array of opportunities, and my piece of advice to all of you would be to explore as much as you can. Try to find where your passion truly lies and do not be afraid to try something new, because mystery is where the truth for you may lie. Know that every person here at LUMS has a unique identity and a unique experience, so strive for yours to be one that you can look back and cherish. Try out different courses, be a part of different societies, and avail the plethora of opportunities that LUMS offers as much as you can to make this beautiful campus your escape and source of resilience. A little about myself, I started my LUMS journey by joining three societies and being a part of different cultures, departments, and people, I was able to make unforgettable memories at LUMS, networking and befriending some amazing individuals. During my LUMS life, I have taken up different roles, whether it be being a coach, Project Head, or a Marketing Manager at a startup and each experience has done its due in shaping me into the person I am today. I hope all of you remain kind and resilient individuals, and cherish every single moment there is. Remember to never doubt your capabilities, as there is something for everyone here if you just give new experiences a chance and make the most of your new home.
