Hello Guys. I am Marium Naeem and before starting with the contemporary introduction of my degree, school etc I would just like to say “Live, enjoy, respect your boundaries and find happiness within yourselves”. I think these words describe me as a person and yes important to tell now that I’m an Accounting and Finance major from Karachi.
So Welcome to LUMS!! I'm sure you're all very excited to start what I would like to describe as a life-changing journey. My advice to you all would be to focus on getting the most out of this experience and just enjoy everything to the fullest because these days are never going to come back!
The next four years of your life will be very different from all your past experiences. You’ll learn, grow, and fall multiple times. Sometimes you’ll even question your decision of coming to LUMS, but just know that you’ll also make some of the best memories of your life, meet some amazing people, and experience some of the most out of the world experiences here. Just please don’t take the freedom and liberty you get here for granted and make every moment count. Know your boundaries and stick to your values; Never change yourself to look cool in front of people because in the end you only find peace in your own values.
So, stay positive, be a good human and enjoy your life at LUMS, and feel free to meet me whenever you see me on campus!!
