Let me start off by saying that YOU DID IT! It might seem surreal right now, but when you enter the campus, suitcases and excitement in hand, you’ll finally grasp the joy of this milestone. We all know how uncertain the past few years have been but you persevered. Your resilience, dedication and commitment is why you earned your spot at LUMS. So for now, sit back, relax and enjoy the moment.
Now a little about me. Salut! J’appelle Maha (Hello! I’m Maha). Just wanted to flaunt a little French I learnt on my semester abroad before I moved on. So I’m an Accounting and Finance senior who is also pursuing a minor in English. Sounds like a strange combination right? But that’s the beauty of LUMS; it offers so many opportunities (even unconventional ones) that help you discover who you are and what you’re passionate about.
Over the courses of 3 years, I’ve had many adventures. From going abroad to Malaysia for a semester exchange to landing an internship at PwC to securing my first job offer in senior year, my time here has been anything but ordinary.
The shift might been daunting, and the transition to one of the best business school’s in Pakistan may seem like a challenge but trust me, that initial fear goes away when your welcomed into the community and you look at the endless possibilities that lay ahead.
