Welcome to the LUMS Family. You are about to embark on an amazing journey for the next four years where you will get a chance to meet exciting people and an excellent faculty that will alleviate your experience as an undergraduate student. Every year as you get closer to your graduation, you want to relive your memories, therefore, cherish these upcoming moments and make the most of your time. It is always an intimidating experience going through an entirely new transition in your life where you will face challenging courses and meet unfamiliar people. This is where I introduce myself as I will try my utmost best as your Peer Ambassador to make your journey as smooth as possible and ensure that your transition into the exciting LUMS Life is both productive and fun.
My name is Kumail Halai, and I am a junior at LUMS, majoring in Management Sciences and plan to do a minor in Computer Science, but let’s see how this goes. You will find me running across the campus between different schools because of my varying interests in courses and my pursuit of reaching in time for my classes. My advice to you guys will be to never stop believing in yourself. LUMS is a hub of opportunities, and if one door closes, you best believe that multiple more will open when you least expect it. Always trust the process and never worry about what is yet to come. I believe in you all and the exciting journey you will have ahead.
