Dear Freshmen, Welcome to Lums. You all are in for such a wild ride oh boy. Let me start by introducing myself, my name's Adeel and i barely got through 2 years at Lums and now it's my turn to help you guys out.
I don't know if any freshmen will actually read this but it's okay to not be sure about your major. These intro level courses are only here to provide a very basic understanding of the subject itself so possibly disliking a 100 level course doesn't mean that you aren't a fit for the major. Remember, all these stressful conversations about academics can be had as soon as the semester is about to start so dont worry about that right now.
A few things: Make as many friends as you can in the first semester, have dinner in groups of 15 honestly its so fun, study until you're actually pleased with yourself, don't have toooo many expectations from the people you meet(YOU'VE ONLY JUST MET THEM), talk to your project group members cause you might actually end up getting amazing friends and lastly, RELAX its only just the start.
