“Dear Class of 2023, WELCOME TO LUMS. I hope you are ready to have the most incredible experience you could have hoped for. I am an Accounting & Finance major junior. For me, LUMS is like a second home. A place where I can be true to myself and express myself without the worry of being judged or called upon. LUMS has given me some good friends who were always there for me through thick and thin. These friendships are the most valuable gift for me.
As for advice for the upcoming freshmen, all I can say is that four years is an ample time to define yourself and hence instead of going with the flow just "be the flow" and even if everything seems quite hectic, don't worry, every piece will fall in its place with time.LUMS is a place where a person gets evolved completely! Make the most out of your 4 years at LUMS by trying out new things, stepping out of your comfort zone and challenging yourself. Surround yourself with quality friends who are always there to motivate you and support you. Focus on personal development and experiential learning and try maintaining a balance between academics and other activities. More importantly, make sure you enjoy your time at LUMS and make your experience a memorable one."
