Hey Everyone,
I’m Adil. Welcome to LUMS, your journey from now on is sure to have its ups and downs but don’t let that discourage you. We’ll be here to make settling in a lot easier. I’ll be a returning senior this year and hope you guys can learn from my experiences and make your own journeys as rewarding as possible. In terms of my career I’d say I value impact the most and thus aspire to work in the tech industry since I believe that’s where you can drive the most change and influence over society. In terms of your stay at LUMS, my advice to all of you would be to constantly go beyond your comfort zone. At LUMS you’ll be exposed to things you’ve never had the chance to learn and experience before. Make sure your experience is diverse, participate in as many societies you can and explore as many new academic disciplines as you can. Keeping an open mind here is the only way you’ll come out a more well-rounded person.
