LUMS class of 2023, I welcome you to arguably the most interesting and enjoyable phase of your life. You have done a great job to make it to the most prestigious university of Pakistan and you have got every right to be proud of yourselves. The challenge ahead of you is different than those you have encountered before. Gear up to take this head on and make these 4 years the defining phase of your life. I, on the other hand, am halfway through this journey trying to get the most out of what is left at hand. I actively seek to manage my academics, family life, social life, fitness and personal life together. For my recreation amidst the tiring schedule, I prefer badminton, table tennis and futsal. A significant part of my daily routine is spent among friends. I was placed on Dean’s Honors list of academic year 2017-18 and 2018-19. I aspire to educate myself enough to develop a perspective that enables me to think and act righteously to the best of my abilities in every situation of life. My advice for the 1st year students is to have confidence in their abilities because they are going to compete with high achievers from all over Pakistan and Secondly, do not shy from experiencing or you would find yourself at a great disadvantage once it is over. Life at LUMS will owe you to its fullest. Later, you will have to play your role in lieu of that service.
