Hello freshmen!
First of all, I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations to all of you for making it to LUMS.
I am Noor, SDSB senior, pursuing Accounting & Finance Major. I love to dedicate my time to helping others, in whatever capacity I can.
As opposed to my major, I want to do something which will help me make this country a better place to live. I firmly believe that if we start sharing the knowledge, we have, with the ones who don’t; we will soon be able to eradicate illiteracy from our country and can take it to new heights.
Talking a bit about my social life, I am a part of some great societies at LUMS, one of them is working for human rights while another is focusing on activity-based learning for underprivileged children.
So, now that you are a member of LUMS community, get ready for a four-year-long roller coaster ride; where you will make memories, meet new people, and will cherish the best moments of your life. But, there will also be many hurdles, challenges, and trials’ testing your endurance and this would be the time when you'll get to learn the most.
My three years at LUMS has changed me as a person; the way I perceive things, the way I interact with people, my ideology of life (literally everything), and I can say this for sure, that I am a better version of myself. I hope you all will also make the most of your time at LUMS.
Lastly, I would like to ensure that you can always turn to me or any other Peer advisor for anything and trust me, we'll be glad to help you out.
