My name is Faizan Wajid and I’ll be one of the Peer Advisors here in SDSB, LUMS. I am currently a junior ( 3rd year student) of Accountings & Finance here.
Your four years’ experience here at LUMS would be the best experience of your life uptil now. The diversity of people here would assist you to make a lot of new friends from all over Pakistan. You’ll be taking a variety of courses and will be joining a number of students-run societies that would help you groom to face the challenges in the practical life.
Talking about my interests, I like to play football, i am a die-hard football fan, I am sure many of you would be, as well :p In addition, I like to read novels, would surely like to share my collection with you guys.
I am a part of several societies here at LUMS i.e. I was the Event Head of Math Gauge In Psifi 9, the flagship event of Spades Society. Currently, I am Director Socials in Fintra. Additionally, I am Assistant Director Marketing in Spades.
I have a whole chunk of dreams that i want to fulfill and make my parents proud of myself. I want to do masters after completing my bachelors from LUMS and want to pursue a career in Finance. Additionally, I too want to go in civil services.
Eagerly waiting to meet you people and have chit-chat sessions. Would love to interact with you guys and give a wonderful first year experience here.
